For the past decade, Preston has gained incredible experience as an advocate, organizer, and writer. He has engaged decision makers at the local, state, and national levels on issues such as Reproductive Justice, LGBTQ equity, and racial and gender justice. In February 2022, Preston will be a contributing author to “The Black Agenda: Bold Solutions for a Broken System” discussing the criminal legal system’s impact on LGBTQ people. Currently, Preston resides in Washington, DC where he actively fights for safe bars and restaurants for Black queer, trans, and nonbinary people.

Preston is available for speaking engagements, on-camera appearances, and freelance writing.
